Children’s ski race in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
The Highlight of the Ski Course Week!
Every Thursday, preparations for the children's ski race on Thursday morning start early. The races begin at around 10:15 AM at Mahdstuhl, Wiesenlift, and Gaisberg.
Our snow sports instructors train and prepare the children during the ski course for the Thursday ski race. Participation in the race is not mandatory. If your child does not want to participate, they can simply watch the other children race.
Our snow sports instructors are also very ambitious and proud when the children from their groups complete the ski race confidently. At the end of the ski race, there is an award ceremony within each group. As parents, you are warmly invited to watch the ski race and attend the award ceremony.
Whether it’s a gold, silver, or bronze medal depends on the children's run times. In any case, every child receives a medal to take home – a wonderful souvenir of their ski holiday in Gurgl. Our mascot BOBO the Penguin will not be missing on the day of the ski race and always enjoys the children's great performances.
A valid ski course card entitles participation in the ski race.
