You would like tuition but not in a group environment? No problem! All you need to do is book a private lesson. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn the basics or an advanced skier ready to explore off-piste, we can cater to your every need. Lessons are tailored to suit each individual – skiing and snowboarding become an adventure with us!

Sunshine or snow – our courses take place whatever the weather.

If skiing is not your thing, why not try snow-shoe hiking or cross-country skiing with one of our certified mountain guides?

We make your winter holiday a winter highlight!

Private instructors can be booked any day – even on Saturdays! During peak season, you should book your private instructor before arrival to secure your place. If you have a particular time you would like, we also recommend booking in advance. Especially recommended during peak season, as well as low season.

When demand is high, the Obergurgl Ski School reserves the right to book the ski instructors at fixed starting times. If demand is not so high, you are welcome to arrange another starting time with the ski school office, provided the snow sports instructor has no other bookings on that date.

Private lessons can be cancelled up to 5 pm on the day before the booked lesson.
If the cancellation does not take place until the booked day, no refund will be given.

Courses take place in all weathers, which is why no free cancellation is possible in bad weather.
